Bula was founded in 1983 by two American ski enthusiasts from Colorado. It all started with a friend trip to Fiji where they got to experience a culture that had a relaxed and carefree attitude to life. The term "Bula Bula" derives from Fiji and means "Good life, good health and good luck". This became the inspiration for building an adventurous brand that started with colorful winter adventures and which over time has developed into a sports brand for the whole year with garments for both mountain trips and beach life.
