GoGirl was launched in 2009 in Minneapolis by Sarah Dillon. GoGirl was created to make it more comfortable and easier for women to urinate, everywhere. The first work with GoGirl began in 2004, while the product itself, a silicone funnel, has been patented and designed for 20 years. Dillon, owner and founder, knew that proper research, great marketing and a good team would enable a unique product like GoGirl, to be a success. Sarah Dillon is a football mom from Minnesota, but is originally from Iowa. She is passionate about both the family and the company, and at the same time thinks that an active and healthy lifestyle is important. When she's not home or on the football field with her children, she and hikers are in the forests of northern Wisconsin or in one of Minnesota's 10,000 lakes. This is one of the reasons why Sarah Dillon wanted to create the product GoGirl. GoGirl is not recyclable. However, it is environmentally friendly as it is reusable. The name Go-Girl came into being in 2008 at the same time as the team executed the company's strategies on the GoGirl tour. The product GoGirl is made by women and is for women. The entire product and packaging has been developed through all the response that hundreds of women gave during the years GoGirl was designed. GoGirl still listens to what women around the world think of the GoGirl product, and constantly wants to make improvements to the product.
