The fine handicraft tradition that the population in the region around the town of Ransäter possesses inspired the founding of the leather goods company Rahnsäter in 2008. With high quality and classic design, they always strive to manufacture bags that age with customers. In the autumn of 2008, the first collection was presented in Stockholm and London. In 2010, Rahnsäter was nominated for rookie of the year at Stockholm Fashion Week and the same year a collaborative collection was launched with Wooyoungmi. Rahnsäter is inspired by an active lifestyle and they want to combine clean design with functional materials of high quality.
