In the fall of 1904, Isaac Spiewak opened a business in Williamsburg, Brooklyn, which produced handmade sheepskin vests which he then sold to dock workers in New York. A century after the start, I. Spiewak & Sons has grown into one of them top names in uniform and workwear. The industrial line has gained the trust of soldiers in WWI and WW2. These are currently worn with pride of thousands of police, firefighters and EMS agencies around the world. Spiewak is a brand based on history, knowledge, sustainability but which at the same time renews itself through design and product development. Many believe that Spiewak is one of the best-preserved brands in the United States with one.
