Seger was started in 1947 by Gunnar Segerqvist just a stone's throw from today's factory in Röshult. It started with socks but relatively quickly Gunnar realized that he needed something to sell even in the winter so then it came to hats, so it has remained. Victory still specializes in socks and hats. Then, as now with nature at the forefront, we strive to make as small an impression as possible on our planet, about: 80% of what we sell is produced at the factory in Röshult, which means short transports and superb control of what we produce. In 2017, we took a step further by switching completely to using only certified electricity from wind power and we have removed all fossil fuels from the factory, which is unique for such a large factory. Seger continuously updates the machine park with new machines to be at the forefront of what we do, we have our own Compression Lab where we test all production of compression continuously to ensure quality. We only work with environmentally certified yarns. Over the years, Seger has worked with many of our Swedish sports stars as a large part of our product development and it is still an important part for us to be able to be sure that we deliver a top product.
